NAWABSHAH, Aug 10: The Matiari police have constituted a special team to arrest 33 people who were deported from Muscat for illegal stay and had escaped from a bus near the Hala branch of the National Highway from the FIA custody.

Matiari DPO Javed Odho told Dawn that the police have received a list of 33 persons who escaped from the Federal Investigation Agency custody near the Hala branch on Wednesday mentioning their names, addresses and other details.

He further said that most of them belonged to upper Sindh, including Larkana, Shikarpur, Jacobabad and Ghotki districts. He said that the FIR would be lodged on Friday after the arrival of a FIA official however; teams had been formed for the arrest of the escaped people.—Correspondent
