DADU: Two cops killed in accident

DADU, Aug 17: Two police officials were killed and five others injured when a police mobile of anti-car lifting cell Karachi hit a parked van near Sann on the Indus Highway on Thursday. The deceased were identified as Mansoob Ahmed and Akbar Khan.

The injured Sub-inspector Fida Hussain, constables Mushtaq, Ashraf, Jan Mohammad and Nawab were admitted to the LUMHS Jamshoro hospital. The team of the anti-car lifting cell was going to Jacobabad from Karachi to investigate a case.—BoC
