PESHAWAR, Aug 31: A fact-finding team of the National Accountability Bureau, NWFP, has detected faults in surveys and construction work carried out as part of various development projects in Chitral district, causing losses to the national exchequer.

According to a press release issued here on Thursday, a fact-finding team of the NAB visited Chitral after reports of irregularities and use of substandard material in roads’ construction and irrigation schemes.

Works and Services Department had executed these projects under the Annual Development Programme and Drought Emergency Relief Assistance.
