SKARDU: Silk Route Festival commences

SKARDU, Sept 1: A week-long Silk Route Festival started in the two districts of Baltistan — Skardu and Ghangche Siachen, and Kargil — on Friday.

The festival features polo tournament, Meena Bazaar, cultural show, exhibition of precious stones, Mehfile-Mushaira and musical night.

The polo tournament would be held in tehsil Shiger, tehsil Roundo and Skardu and Ghangche.—APP
