Volleyball junior team named

ISLAMABAD, Sept 8: Pakistan on Friday named team to compete in the 13th Asian Junior Men's volleyball championship starting in Tehran, Iran from Wednesday. Teams from Pakistan, Iran, India, Japan, Indonesia, South Korea, Kuwait, Yemen, UAE, Sri Lanka, Oman, China-Taipei, China, Bahrain, and Australia are participating in the nine-day event.

Pakistan contingent will leave for the Iranian capital on Saturday.

Squad: Zaheer Abbas (captain), Mohammad Tauqeer, Ismail Khan, Pir Bakhsh Yasin, Haseeb-ul-Hassan, Mohib Rasool, Shah Faisal, Mohammad Waseem Tahir, Mohammad Imran, Zaheer Khan, Ali Abbas, Imran Tipu.
