KHAIRPUR, Sept 17: A portion of the PTCL district revenue office collapsed on Saturday. The staff was safe. The furniture in the clerical section was damaged.

The staff carried out their routine work outside the office.

In the first incident some months ago, portions of the roof of the customer service section of the same office collapsed damaging some furniture.

In the second incident, roof part of the revenue office collapsed. The staff said on Saturday that the office building had become dangerous.

BOOKED: Police on Saturday booked eight people for the murder of Ghulam Akbar Maitlo, 40, near Relai Maitlo.

Shah Mohammad, the father of the victim, had lodged an FIR at the Tando Masti Khan against Tajoo Narejo, Imdad Chandio, Moula Bux Chandio, Qurban, Fayaz and Usman.

The complainant stated in the FIR that Ghulam Akbar Maitlo was going to Rafique Mahessar village to Relai Maitlo when armed men had shot him dead.—BoC
