NAWABSHAH, Sept 18: The district and sessions judge on Monday adjourned the hearing of the Rasool Bux Brohi encounter case till September 30 after police said they could not produce the accused in the court.

A letter presented to the court by the line officer of Nawabshah said that police were deployed at different places in the city due to VIP movements and could not produce the accused, including the former SP and head of the Lyari Task Force, Chaudhry Aslam, and others for hearing.

Ismail Brohi and Ghulam Hussain Brohi, father and uncle of the deceased Rasool Bux, later told newsmen that the accused were pressuring them to accept a compromise.
