SAHIWAL, Sept 19: Mepco has restarted load shedding for two hours a day without announcing a schedule. On Monday night, it suspended electricity supply from 10 o’clock from grid stations at Tariq bin Ziad Colony and the Multan Road.

However, in rural areas the closure was of four hours

When contacted, a Mepco spokesman said this was done on the orders from Islamabad headquarters.

Although, Mepco suspended electricity for two hours on Monday, one hour at day and one hour at night, it cut off power from 1am to 2am and 3am to 3:50am in Tariq bin Ziad Colony and Fateh Sher Colony.
