KARACHI: Bandits stab FC man to death

KARACHI, Feb 13: Bandits stabbed a man to death on a minibus in Napier police limits on Wednesday night.

Police said bandits tried to rob Aminullah, aged 30, on a moving minibus (Z-18). When he put up resistance to the bandits, they stabbed him and escaped.

Amin was rushed to Civil Hospital where he died. He was an official of the Frontier Constabulary.

SHOT DEAD: A young man was shot dead and another injured in a land dispute in Malir on Wednesday.

The police said Nazeer Husain, aged 30, was shot dead, and Allah Jurao, aged 29, wounded when two groups opened fire at each other during a fight in a land dispute in the police limits of Sachal.

The police claimed to have arrested three men on the spot. They were identified as Sufian, Munir and Amir Bakhsh.

The police described the two parties involved in the dispute as land-grabbers who had been active in gobbling up land in the area.
