NAWABSHAH, Sept 30: Leaders of the People’s Party Parliamentarians on Friday said that struggle would continue till removal of the dictatorship from the country.
They were speaking at a gathering held in Punhal Khan Chandio village to mark the 23rd death anniversary of 16 martyrs of the MRD.
PPP Sindh president Qaim Ali Shah, opposition leader in the Sindh Assembly, Mr Nisar Khuhro, MNA Ghulam Mustafa Shah, PONM Sindh president Syed Zain Shah, former minister Mir Munawar Talpur and MPA Ghulam Qadir Chandio spoke on the occasion.
They said that army had to protect frontiers of the country but it had forgotten the oath and ruling the country.
They said that army was ready to give power to the People’s Party excluding Benazir Bhutto which was refused.
They said that the rulers were accepting illegal demands of ‘foreign bosses’ just to perpetuate their rule.
They said that lives of people had become miserable due to price hike but the government was claiming huge foreign reserves.
They said that people were facing problems due to wrong policies of the military rulers.
The speakers stressed upon all parties to unite on one platform and wage a relentless struggle for the restoration of democracy.
They said that there was dictatorship in the country and it would only be ended with continuous struggle.
