HYDERABAD, Oct 2: Awami Tehrik chief Rasool Bux Palijo has said that the PPP is supporting the forces of exploitation and General Musharraf and the party are speaking the same language.

He said that undemocratic forces had taken over control of the Sindh government.

He was talking to reporters on Sunday evening after presiding over the first meeting of newly-elected office-bearers of the party.

He called upon the people to unite on one platform to launch a joint struggle for their survival.

Mr Palijo said that the Awami Tehrik would fight against traitors of Sindh.

He said that Pakistan had freed itself from the yoke of British but now it was under the control of American imperialism which makes and breaks the governments.

He said that after the death of Quaid-i-Azam, the generals had taken over the control of the country who had destroyed democracy.

He said that the rulers had deprived nations of their inherent rights and added that the federation had taken over full control of all natural resources of Sindh and Balochistan.

He said that Nawab Akbar Bugti was killed in cold blood and political activists of Sindh and Balochistan had been arrested by agencies and made to disappear.

Mr Palijo said that conspiracies were being hatched to convert Sindhis and Baloch into minorities in their own homeland.

He said that aliens were being settled in Sindh and Balochistan and thousands of acres of land on both sides of Super and National highways was being allotted to a particular group.

Not only this, he said but lands were also being disposed of to foreign companies.

He called upon Sindhis, democratic and patriotic forces and political parties of the country to perform their due role in protecting rights of people and oppressed nations.

He said that the PPP was supporting anti-Sindh forces.

He warned that people of Sindh would not forgive those who betrayed Sindh.
