NAWABSHAH: Demonstration in Nawabshah

NAWABSHAH, Oct 13: Activists of the Sindh Foodgrain Godown Workers Union on Thursday warned during a protest demonstration outside the office of the district food controller that if their demands were not accepted by October 20, they would spread their protest throughout the province.

The protesters, Haji Khan Otho, Jam Bhatti, Ali Sher, Chutto and Abdul Hameed Lund demanded promotions of watchmen on seniority basis, payment for uniforms, jobs under the quota for the deceased employee and action against corrupt officials.
