KARACHI, Nov 16: Tennis players belonging to the Metropolis and other parts of Sindh province will vie for honours in the first competition of STA development series which commences at the City Sports Complex from Dec 2, organisers said on Thursday.

The launch of the tournament in collaboration with city district government’s community development department is aimed at scouting talent in addition to STA’s talent hunt events.

STA plans to organise similar events in interior of Sindh during next year.

The events to be held are men’s singles, ladies singles, girls U-17 singles, juniors U-17, U-15 singles, boys U-13, U-11, U-9 singles, men’s, juniors U-17 and boys U-15 doubles. Interested players have been asked to submit entries latest by Nov 30.

Outstation players should send entries through their respective district associations to secretary STA. Outstation players will be given a daily allowance of Rs250 until elimination.
