Published November 26, 2006

CHARSADDA, Nov 25: The Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) brought out a rally here on Saturday against the passage of the Protection for Women’s Rights bill.

Addressing the participants of the rally at Farooq Azam Chowk, MMA leaders said the legislation was against the laws of Islam.

Maulana Gohar said the rules were acting at the behest of the US and Europe. He said the Hisba bill would be enforced in the province soon, proving MMA government's sincerity towards Islamisation of society.
