SUKKUR, Nov 27: Two people were killed and two others injured in an armed clash between Chachar and Korai clansmen in the Janan Korai Village, near Pano Akil, on Monday.

Armed men belonging to Chachar clansmen raided Janan Korai village and started indiscrimanate firing, in which two people including Wazir Ali Korai and Mohammad Hassan Korai died on the spot and two minor boys Shabaan and Mohammad Ghani received injuries.

On retaliation, the attackers fled from the scene.

Later, the injured were shifted to taluka hospital, Pano Akil. The area people claimed that two months ago one Ghulam Mustafa Chachar was killed by the Korais and today’s attack was the result of that incident. However, no case was registered till filing of this report.

KIDNAPPED: Armed men kidnapped a young boy from Noor Mohammad Kaladi village from the jurisdiction of Ghotki police station on Monday morning.

Reports reaching here said that Rab Dino, 18, son of Noor Mohammad Kaladi, was working at his agricultural land when armed men kidnapped him.
