HYDERABAD, Nov 29: Sindh National Front (SNF) chief Mumtaz Ali Bhutto has said that it is time Sindhis unite on one platform to foil conspiracies being hatched against their land.
In a message from Turkey read out on his 73rd birthday the SNF celebrated at a local hotel on Tuesday, the SNF chief vowed to continue struggle for the provincial autonomy and protection of Sindh’s resources from what he called anti-Sindh forces.
SNF Secretary General Gul Mohammad Jakhrani said that whoever was part of a government even for once faced charges of corruption but Mumtaz Ali Bhutto was charged with only being a nationalist and he was proud of being one. Sindh Taraqi Passand Party (STPP) Chairman Dr Qadir Magsi accused the rulers, waderas and racist politicians of making conspiracies against the province.
Prominent scholar Mohammad Ibrahim Joyo said that Pakistan was made with the guarantee of complete autonomy and sovereignty to the provinces which was still unmet.
The newly elected president of Sindh National Congress, Dr Dodo Maheri said that Sindh had not only provided leadership to its own people but also to the entire subcontinent. Sindh today was facing innumerable problems, a fact which made it even more necessary for Sindhis to unite on one platform under the leadership of Mumtaz Ali Bhutto.
