QUETTA, Dec 11: A division bench of the Balochistan High Court on Monday directed the administration of the Bolan Medical College to evict illegal occupants from hostel and quarters of the college.

The bench compromising Chief Justice Amanullah Khan Yasinzai and Justice Akhtar Zaman Malghani said that only the authorised students and the health department staff could reside in the BMC hostels and quarters.

The court on the petition filed by Syed Saleem Akhtar against the deteriorating education standard in the Balochistan University directed the controller of examinations to ensure transparent and fair conduct of BA, BSc and BDS examinations.

The court also directed the Balochistan education department that postings and transfers should be made on merit and in accordance with the requirement of the rules and regulations.

The court on the submission of the principal of the Government Science College ordered that the hostel of the college should be used for the academic purpose, instead of hostel.
