SIALKOT, Dec 30: Pakistan has become an attractive place for foreign investment due to effective and sound economic polices of the government.

This was stated by Speaker National Assembly Ch. Amir Hussain on Saturday while addressing a delegation of exporters, traders and manufacturers here.

“Gwadar would soon become a hub of trade and commerce activities,” he said adding that keeping in view the importance of the area the business community of Sialkot must also benefit from the new prospects for industrial and trade activities.

Ch. Ameer said the government was making strenuous efforts for establishing a strong industrial and export base in the country.

He was of the opinion that in order to cope with the new global challenges the exporters and manufactures should concentrate on bringing innovation in their products.

He lauded the role of the business community of Sialkot in enhancing the export volume and assured them that the government was making serious efforts for addressing problems faced by the local industry. —APP
