HYDERABAD, Dec 31: The Awami Tehrik chief, Rasool Bux Palijo, has said that the country has been defamed due to rulers collaboration with United States over people’s massacre in Afghanistan and Iraq and the execution of Saddam Hussain on political basis. He said rulers collaboration with America had proved that Pakistan was not an independent and sovereign state but an American colony.

In a statement issued here late on Saturday night he said that history was witness to the fact that America had used dictators like Shah of Iran and Ziaul Haq to further its own nefarious designs and then abandoned them when they were of no use to America.

He said, former Iraqi president Saddam Hussain had been hanged for committing crimes against humanity. Palijo said that president Bush was also guilty of the same crimes as he had killed thousands of innocent people in Iraq and Afghanistan. He lashed out at the Pakistani rulers for not raising a strong voice against these excesses. He said, if America was not stopped from becoming an SHO of the world, no country will remain safe.

He said the present rulers should resign as they had failed to preserve the independence and sovereignty of the country. He demanded that an interim government should be appointed with the chief justice of the Apex court as its head and fresh elections should be held for a constituent assembly in accordance with 1940 resolution and the foundation stone of a new independent and sovereign state should be laid.

Meanwhile, the chief of Islahul Muslimeen Sindh chapter, Zulfiqar Ali Junejo, has said that at the instance of Jewish lobby, America was carrying out genocide of the Muslims throughout the world. He said the political murder of Saddam Hussain was a direct attack on the Muslim Ummah. He was addressing party workers of Badin and Tando Mohammad Khan districts at Tando Mohammad Khan on Saturday evening.

He said, Islam was the religion of peace and love but frontal attacks were being made on the Muslims by America under the influence of Jewish lobby. He urged the Muslim Ummah to unite on one platform against the anti-Islam forces.

The district president of the party, Tando Mohammad Khan, Mohammad Moosa Qambrani and Badin district president Noor Ahmed Khatti, also spoke on the occasion.

They condemned political murder of Saddam Hussain and the mass murders of Muslims in Afghanistan and Iraq.
