HYDERABAD, Jan 11: The leaders of PPP-SB have vowed to complete the mission of late Mir Murtaza Bhutto and to avenge his murder. They said that they wanted a political revolution in the country but were not after power.
They were speaking at the 3rd death anniversary of party leader late Ali Sonaro at the Hyderabad press club here on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, Younus Bhan said that Mir Murtaza Bhutto and Ali Sonaro had never succumbed to any pressure or exigencies of time and that was the reason that they were killed.
He said the slain leaders had always fought for the rights of the downtrodden masses. He said they were the beacon light for their followers. He said the mission of Murtaza Bhutto will be completed under the leadership of Ms Ghinwa Bhutto.
He said, all out efforts will be made to get case of late Prime Minister and founder of the party, Z.A.Bhutto reopened. He asked the workers to be prepared for more sacrifices.
Speaking on the occasion, Ameer Bux Umrani, said that Ali Sonaro was a true soldier of Mir Murtaza Bhutto and he had sacrificed his life while struggling to complete the mission of his leader.
The others, who spoke on the occasion included, Lakhmir Palari, Apa Tehzibunnisa, Malik Munawar and others.
They paid tributes to Ali Sonaro for his sacrifices in the cause of party and people and said that the mission of Mir Murtaza Bhutto will be completed. They demanded immediate arrest of the murderers of Mir Murtaza and Ali Sonaro. Quran Khwani was also held on the occasion.
DEMO: The family members of Dadu jail functionary, Gul Mohammad Jatoi, who was murdered in cold blood while resisting land grabbers sometime back, observed hunger strike outside the press club on Thursday against the alleged threats being issued to them by the sons of main accused, Naban Khan Lund.
Talking to reporters, the wife of late Gul Mohammad, Ms Kazbano, said that taluka nazim of Dadu, Naban Khan Lund, had murdered her husband in cold blood and the case was pending in the court of law.
