DERA GHAZI KHAN, Jan 22: District naib nazim Dost Mohammad Khosa, the son of Punjab PML-N president Zulfikar Ali Khosa, was suspended by the Punjab government on Monday.

A notification was also issued by the local government secretary. Sources said Dost Mohammad Khosa, who was also district president of the PML-N, had been asked by the authorities to show cause for holding party conventions in the district, but he did not respond.

When contacted, Mr Khosa alleged that it was only a political victimisation.

His father Zulfiqar Khosa has also expressed his anguish over the decision.
