Kunjahi’s death condoled

LAHORE, Jan 22: Pakistan Academy of Letters chairman Iftikhar Arif has condoled the death of Punjabi scholar and writer Sharif Kunjahi. He said in his condolence message that the late Sharif Kunjahi had dedicated his life to the service of literature.

He was the author of more than 30 books and had also translated the Holy Quran and lectures of Allama Iqbal.

He said he would always be remembered for his invaluable contribution to Punjabi language and literature.
