Abbottabad gain unexpected lead

LAHORE, Jan 25: A haul of six for 48 by Sajid Shah earned Abbottabad an unexpected 98-run lead on the first innings against Multan in the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Silver League game at the Multan Cricket Stadium on Thursday.

The hosts were all out for 139 after resuming 24 for one in reply to Abbottabad’s total of 237 with the left-handed Bilal Khilji scoring 50.

The visitors then consolidated their position by reaching 49 for one in their second innings for an overall lead of 147.
