PECHS retain tennis title

KARACHI, Jan 26: Defending champions PECHS College inflicted straight 2-0 defeat on Sir Syed College to retain the title of Karachi Board Inter-collegiate girls tennis championship at the latter’s court on Friday.

Uzma Ansari starred in her team’s triumph. After disposing off Aimel 6-3, 6-2 in the singles, she teamed up with Moazzama to gave a 6-1, 6-2 drubbing to the pair of Aimel — Qurratul Ain in the doubles.

Results:

PECHS College bt Sir Syed College 2-0.

Uzma Ansari bt Aimel 6-3, 6-2.

Uzma Ansari - Moazzama bt Aimel – Qurratul Ain 6-1, 6-2.
