Adeel strike helps KRL win

KARACHI, Jan 27: Adeel Ahmad's late strike gave KRL a close 1-0 victory over Habib Bank in the Pakistan Premier Football League at CDGK stadium on Saturday. After a barren first half, KRL broke the ice with an Adeel strike in the 70th minute.

In another match Pakistan Navy edged past Pakistan Army 1-0 thanks to a Nomi Martin goal in the 18th minute.

However, despite the loss soldiers were at the top of points table and have already retained their title, while KRL were at second spot.

KPT will face Wapda at People's Sports Complex in the last match of the league on Sunday.
