KARACHI, Feb 3: A fighting century by skipper Faisal Athar revived Hyderabad’s hopes of avoiding defeat against Quetta in their Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Silver League match at the Niaz Stadium in Hyderabad on Saturday.
Faisal scored 117 as Hyderabad, who trailed in the first innings by 97 runs, reached 274 for eight after batting throughout the third day’s play, having resumed at the overnight score of 37 for one.
The hosts now lead by 177 runs.
