ISLAMABAD, Feb 23: Awami National Party President Asfandyar Wali called on Pakistan People's Party chairperson Benazir Bhutto in Dubai, says a spokesman for Ms Bhutto. Mr Asfandyar is on a visit to the UAE.

The spokesman said in a press statement issued here on Friday the two party leaders discussed the prevailing political situation, including the forthcoming multi-party conference (MPC) and the rigging in the recent by-elections held in the country.

Both the leaders, he said, expressed concern over the presence of foreigners in the tribal areas of Pakistan.
