KHAIRPUR: Woman killed over karo-kari

KHAIRPUR, March 12: A woman was killed by her husband on the pretext of karo-kari in Lothi village, Faiz Ganj taluka, late Sunday night. Malookan Rajpar was severely tortured by her husband Khair Mohammad before being strangulated to death. Later, the accused threw her body outside his house. The Faiz Ganj police on Monday arrested Khair Mohammad who has confessed to the crime. The body was handed over to relatives of the deceased woman after autopsy at the taluka hospital. Father of deceased woman denied that his daughter was kari and said that she was innocent.
