ISLAMABAD, March 15: A petition has been filed with the Supreme Court, asking it to direct the government to declare the whereabouts of the senior-most judge of the Supreme Court, Justice Rana Bhagwandas.

The petition was filed under Article 184(3) of the Constitution on Thursday by Maulvi Iqbal Haider who has also annexed the news clipping of BBC Urdu Service showing that the government of India has not confirmed the presence of Justice Rana Bhagwandas in that country.

Moreover, the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi had no knowledge of his visit either, he said. The petition says that the nation wants to know the whereabouts of the justice.
