THATTA, March 29: Delay in justice, denial of medical report, and failure to arrest the culprits are making a gang rape victim psychosomatic and further lingering may force her to end her life.

This was stated by the Peoples Party Parliamentarians MPA, Sassui Palijo after visiting the victim’s family in village Chhato Chand near Thatta on Thursday.

On the complaint of victim's father, Aachar Samoon, the MPA immediately contacted IGP Sindh, Jehangir Mirza and secretary health, Naushad Shaikh on mobile phone and told them that police and lady doctor Nasreen Baloch were reportedly trying to hush up the case.

She revealed that out of the three nominated accused, Laiq Jakhro and Anwar Jakhro — one with criminal record — were still not arrested as they were being protected by some influential people.
