HYDERABAD, April 13: Lawyers throughout Sindh boycotted courts and staged protest demonstrations on the call of the Pakistan Bar Council on Friday. The protesting lawyers carried black flags, wore black armbands, staged sit-ins and vowed to continue their struggle till the reinstatement of the Chief Justice.

They were protesting against the suspension of the CJP and filing of the presidential reference against him.

Hyderabad lawyers staged a rally from the Pakistan Chowk to the local press club.

AT: A large number of the Awami Tehrik activists, including women staged protest from the Hotel City Gate to the press club. Different parties, including Jamat-e-Islami, PML-N, ANP and others also joined them.

T.M.KHAN: Lawyers of Tando Muhammad Khan protested outside the district council building.

THATTA: Members staged a sit-in at the National Highway near Makli which resulted in the suspension of vehicular traffic.

NAWABSHAH: The DBA members took out a rally.

MITHI: The DBA members observed token hunger strike.

KHAIRPUR: Lawyers of Khairpur marched in the court premises.

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE: Lawyers took out a rally from the district courts.

DADU: Lawyers boycotted courts in Dadu and Jamshoro.

MIRPURKHAS: Lawyers of Mirpurkhas took out a rally from the DBA office and marched on main roads.
