DADU, May 18: The body of a boy kidnapped two days ago from the Dadu City, was found in a canal near Degree College on Friday. He was identified as Zohaib, 7. Police handed over the body to the relatives after post-mortem conducted at Dadu Civil Hospital.

Talking to journalists, the father of the boy, Sheral Panhwar, said that his family had no enmity with anyone. He demanded arrest of criminals involved in the murder of his son.

He said torture marks were found on the neck and other parts of the body of his son.

Dadu town police are clueless about two kidnapped children, Imran Ahmed Soomro, 5, and Shahmir Solangi, 8.

A large number of people, including social workers and members of the affected families, took out a protest rally in the town against the failure of the Dadu police to recover the kidnapped children.

Participants of the rally, after marching on various thoroughfares, converged in front of the press club and demanded recovery of the children.

Addressing the rally, Nawab Solangi said that his son Shahmir Solangi was in the possession of influential people in Sehwan Sharif but police were reluctant to conduct raids.
