HYDERABAD, May 22: District Coordination Officer Mohammad Hussain Syed has directed the EDOs and group offices to submit budget recommendations and estimates for 2007-08 within two weeks.

He issued the directive at a meeting of the Executive District Officers Committee at Shahbaz Hall on Tuesday.

The DCO told the officers to ensure balanced budget estimates and also take into account the difficulties in formulating budgetary proposals.

He directed all the EDOs and management group offices to fully concentrate on performances and deliveries in practical sense.

He directed the concerned officers to submit month-wise reports on fund utilisation so that their performance could be gauged. He emphasised on giving priority to health and education sectors.
