KARACHI, May 25: The Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF) has ignored Karachi while finalising venues for the first leg of eight-test home and away series against traditional rivals India starting from June 26.

The first leg will be played in Pakistan and later the two teams will be up against each other in the second leg in August. The first-ever series between two nations will be preceded by the Central Asian Zone Volleyball Championship which is being played at Islamabad from June 19 to 23.

According to itinerary, the first test will be staged at Peshawar on June 26 followed by second at Wah on June 28, third at Islamabad on June 30 and the fourth at Lahore on July 2.

The probables are currently undergoing training under the supervision of a Bulgarian coach at sports complex, Islamabad. Pakistan team will be announced in the first week of next month.
