HYDERABAD, June 4: The University of Sindh has announced the schedule for admission to one-semester Professional Diploma in Rural Development Communication under evening programme.

According to the announcement, those holding bachelor degree in second class in any relevant field from the Sindh University or any other recognized university with proficiency in English and having relevant experience in NGO work, project handling on rural development or advocacy, journalism, electronic media or government departments are eligible for admission.

Admission forms will be issued from June 11 from the Habib Bank’s Jamshoro and Hyderabad Old Campus branches. Last date for submission of forms is June 30.

The diploma course will be offered by the Centre for Rural Development Communication under the Faculty of Social Sciences. It is aimed at imparting functional training in development communication to media professionals and others associated with rural development and social change.

Meanwhile, the university has also announced the schedule for admission to BEd, MEd and MA (education) morning and evening programme at the Faculty of Education.

The candidates can obtain admission forms from June 25 from the HBL’s Hyderabad Old Campus and Jamshoro branches. Last date for submission of forms has been fixed as July 15.
