NAWABSHAH, June 9: The Nawabshah police removed hunger strike camp of teachers protesting regularization outside the press club, on Saturday.

Police team led by the TPO Nawabshah reached the press club road and removed hunger strike camp of the commission pass teachers of middle school project who were protesting for the regularization of jobs.

They continued their protest by staging sit-in on the road.

Protesters including Mohammad Yousuf, Abdul Ghani, Tahir Fayaz, Ghulam Shabbir, Taj Mohammad and Gulzar Ahmed told reporters that the commission pass teachers of other districts had been regularized on the orders of secretary education but the DCO Nawabshah had kept the file of 27 teachers pending since last nine months.

They further said their SNE had been approved and that the district council also passed a resolution for regularization but the DCO was playing with their future. They demanded of the government to provide them justice and direct the DCO to issue their regularization orders. They warned to continue their protest till the acceptance of their demand.

Acting district president PPP Ghulam Qadir Chandio MPA also joined the protesters and condemned the policy of the Sindh government and demanded immediate regularization of teachers.

In group-I, Thul branch and its system, Mir Rukkan Minor, Kahkat Minor, Talhi Minor, Sujawal Distry, Rein Distry and its system, Rahib Shah Distry, Sakrand Distry, Mangio Minor, Forest Minor, Attur Minor, Khair Shah Minor, Zardari Minor, Khaddar Distry and its system, Lakhmir Minor and Jam Dahri Minor would remain open from June 9 to 16.

In group-II, Thul branch and its system, Malwah Distry, RD-28,000, Qazi Ahmed Minor, Jado Minor, Manaharo Minor, San Minor, Pubjo Minor, Jamal Shah Distry, Jan Mohammad Minor, Waryam Minor, Bilawal Minor, Dalel Dero Minor, Shahbaz Minor, Batho Minor and Nakur Minor would remain open from June 16 to 23.

SUICIDE: A young girl committed suicide in Abdul Hakim Zardari village near Gupchani, on Friday by consuming pesticides.

Arbi 17, daughter Allah Wasayo took pesticides and was taken to the Nawabshah Medical College Hospital in serious condition where she expired.
