On refusal she was mercilessly beaten and ousted from the house. She complained to respondents but to no avail and on the contrary they forced her to be obedient. She said her husband failed to prove a good husband and added that on many occasions he levelled allegations of kari.
She said two and half months back her husband tortured and ousted her from the house and kept children with him while extending threats of dire consequences. She went to her father Abdul Karim for protection but he refused. She came to Matli and approached nekmards who promised her protection. When respondents came to know about her whereabouts they followed and attempted to kill her.
On May 31 she filed a suit for the dissolution of marriage before judicial magistrate Matli and now respondents have declared her kari. They were searching with the intention of murdering or handing her over to the SIP Ghulam Hussain. She prayed the court to ensure her safety and honour and restrain respondents from high-handedness. She prayed the court to direct respondent SHO Taluka police station Mirpurkhas to register FIR of petitioner against respondents. The court directed respondents not to harass her and fixed the matter for June 25 while issuing notices to respondents.
