STA tennis begins today

KARACHI, June 15: The second STA development series tennis championship, a Sindh-ranking event, begins at PN Karsaz synthetic courts from Saturday with the organisers getting over 100 entries including women.

Vinod Das, Seher Khawaja and Zuhair Raza have been top seeded in the men’s, ladies and juniors’ U-17 singles categories respectively.

Other events to take place during the week-long tourney are boys U-15, boys U-13, boys U-11 and boys’ U-9.

The championship concludes on June 22.
