MUZAFFARGARH, June 23: Police recovered here on Saturday bombs planted in the tankers engaged in oil transportation to Afghanistan.

“After receiving a tip-off that bombs have been planted in oil tankers which were on their way to the installations of Pak-Arab Refinery Company (Parco) near Qasba Gujrat, 20km from here, a police party stopped the vehicles and after a thorough search they found Russian-made bombs beneath their fuel tanks,” District Police Officer Rai Mohammad Tahir told Dawn. He said police have arrested the drivers.
