CHITRAL, June 26: Daily life was affected in the Booni town after flood badly hit the infrastructure in the town.

The flood also damaged the water supply channels, giving rise to a water shortage in the area.

Five government schools in Booni and Rayeen villages were also destroyed.

No relief had been provided to the affected people in the Kushum, Madak, Nishko, Rayeen villages and the Booni town until Tuesday afternoon.

Roads leading to different valleys remained closed. Electricity supply was also disrupted.
