MARDAN, July 2: An alleged militant, who was injured when an explosive device went off before he could plant it outside a women vocational centre, confessed to crime in a local court on Monday.
The accused, Imtiaz Khan, was produced before the court of civil judge Tanveer Iqbal by police.
He confessed his involvement in terrorist activities, including writing threatening letters to CDs and barber shops and women vocational centres and schools.
The accused was arrested in injured condition on June 16.
An FIR was registered against him at the Mardan City police station.—Correspondent
