The affected people have also taken shelter on the Ratodero-Qubo Saeed Khan Motorway. They are yet to receive any relief.
Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim during a visit to Qambar town asked the departments concerned to do everything possible to deal with the situation.
Talking to journalists, he said that various committees comprising officials from the Pakistan Army, police and revenue departments had been formed to provide relief to the affected people.
An emergency cell had been set up at the district nazim office, he added.
He said that food, bottled water and medicines were being provided to the marooned people by mobile health teams.
