MARDAN, July 5: Teachers, who were recruited for various schools of Mardan districts seven months ago, have complained that they have not been paid salaries since their appointment.
In a statement issued here on Thursday, they said that non-payment of salaries was causing anxiety among teachers.
They said that they had been appointed on merit and that credentials of each of the 274 newly-appointed male and female teachers had been thoroughly checked.
They demanded immediate payment of salaries.
