LARKANA: Taluka nazim booked

LARKANA, July 14: Bakrani police on Saturday booked six persons including taluka nazim Dokri, Shafqat Hussain Unnar in firing case. Babu Serwar Siyal, chief of the Khushhal Pakistan Panel in District Council Larkana nominated taluka nazim, Waheed Abro, Shahzado Mirbahar, Muzaffar Unnar and two unknown person for firing upon him in Pathan village. Police applied section 173, 34 and 109 PPC in the FIR.

SIT-IN: A large number of villagers caondemned police failure to arrest the killers of two people in Kanpur village. They demonstrated by blocking the Airport Road at ‘Channa Bridge’ on Saturday.

Ali Gul Mangrio and Riaz Hussain Mangrio were gunned down by a gang of dacoits who had stormed the village. Protestors burnt tyres and interrupted the vehicular traffic on Airport Road calling for early arrest of killers.

The TPO Dokri and the SHO promised of arresting the assailants soon upon which villagers called off the protest.
