Arms cache seized near Chaman

QUETTA, July 16: The Frontier Corps personnel on Monday seized a huge quantity of illegal arms and ammunition near Chaman. According to sources, the FC troops raided the hilly area of Roghani and launched a search operation.

They recovered five 7MM rifles, four AK-47 rifles, one SMG, 11 hand-grenades and hundreds of rounds of different calibre weapons.

Official sources said that arms and ammunition were dumped underground.

They said that the weapons were smuggled from across the border to sell them into Quetta.

No arrest was reported.
