HYDERABAD, July 24: The “remove PML Hyderabad District Office-bearers Movement’’ or the Hyderabad PML dissident group has condemned the decision to give employment to the people on party basis and said that it was a flagrant violation of the principle of merit.

Speaking at a news conference, the chairman of the ‘movement’, S. M. Ilyas, Mehboob Junejo, Rizwan Kaka, Guddu Qambrani and others accused the political secretary to the Sindh chief minister, senator Ghaffar Qureshi of ‘palace conspiracies’ and said that he was trying to win over opportunist by offering them employment.

They said that the Sindh chief minister was busy day and night in the rehabilitation of the flood affected people while senator Qureshi was busy in conspiracies.

They demanded of the Sindh chief minister to give employment to the poor people and party workers purely on merit basis.

They also appealed to him to appoint some minister or senior leader to resolve the organisational matters of the party in Karachi and Hyderabad.

They warned that if employments were given to opportunist by Senator Qureshi, they would seek relief from the court of law.
