HYDERABAD, July 26: Institute of Food Sciences and Technology, Sindh Agriculture University Tandojam here on Thursday organised a one-day training workshop for the peasants and growers of the coastal belt Badin on the preservation of fruits and vegetables.
Speaking on the occasion, the director of the institute, Dr Sagheer Ahmed Shaikh explained methods for preserving fruits and vegetables in the coastal areas.
He said, through latest technology on which research has been conducted and it had become possible to preserve fruits and vegetables produced in coastal areas.
