CHITRAL: Annual reports approved

CHITRAL, Aug 11: The board of directors of the Legal Aid Forum for Human Rights (LAFH), Chitral chapter, has approved annual reports of different departments, including district government and non-governmental organisations, working in the district.

Captain Sirajul Mulk chaired a meeting of the board. LAFH president Niaz A. Niazi Advocate presented annual reports of the line department that was approved by the board after discussion.

Mr Mulk hailed working of the LAFH and asked its members to work for people irrespective of their caste, tribe and religion. Working for needy and oppressed people was real service and it was appreciated by all segments of the society, he added.

Religious scholar Maulana Israruddin Alhilal, Syed Akram Shah, Dr Saleema Hassan and Dr Inayautullah, LAFH general-secretary Niaz Ali Shah and other members of the board attended the meeting.

Captain Mulk announced Rs30,000 donation for the forum.

The board decided to publish annual reports of the line departments.—APP
