SWABI, Aug 17: A four-member committee has been constituted to investigate the bomb explosion at a tuition centre in which two people were killed earlier this week. Declining to provide details, the district police officer, Zebullah Khan, said: “We want to reach to the bottom of this, so we cannot disclose anything at this time.”

Meanwhile, the police said they had drawn up a new security plan because the blast was a clear-cut message to the law-enforcement agencies that Swabi might no longer remain peaceful. Concern has been growing about the “Talibanisation” of the district, said some officials.
