Chitral river in high flood

PESHAWAR, Aug 20: Kabul river at Sardaryab remained in medium flood whereas Chitral river at Chitral continue to be in very high flood, discharging 13,175 and 27,900 cusecs of water, respectively, on Monday.

According to the NWFP flood cell, water level remained normal in Indus river at Attock; Kabul river at Warsak and Nowshera; Swat river at Munda headworks, Khuzakhela and Amandara; Kurram river at Tall and Kurram Garhi and Gambila river at Gambila Bridge.

Low floods were recorded in Swat river at Khiali, Shah Alam river at Tukhtabad, Naguman river at Charsadda Road, Siren river at Dhryal, Panjkora river at Talash Dir, Kunhar river at Garhi Habibullah and Kaitu river at Spinwam.—APP
